The Aahara Mela

The Janapriya Aahara Mela on the Maharaja’s College Grounds, open from late morning to ten at night from 11 to 25 October. South and North Karnataka kitchens beside Kashmiri, Punjabi, Rajasthani, North-Eastern, Andhra, Kerala, Tamil, Marathi, Chinese, Tibetan, Italian, French and African stalls, vegetarian and non-vegetarian, with a millet and organic-food section. Free entry; pay at the stall.

  • Mysuru Palace (Amba Vilas)

    The seat of the Wadiyars and the city’s defining monument, lit by a lakh of bulbs on Sundays and through Dasara.
